My name is Mélodie BLANQUER-CODINA, and I am your dedicated creator !

I'm going to tell you a little bit about my journey and how I came to create my artisanal company PERLEZIENNE in 2025.

It all started when I was young, and still lived with my parents in Brittany ; there was a bead store in the city center. This store was a real gem for me, and I was always amazed by it. I went there all the time. In addition to that, I very regularly participated in the creative workshops offered (I thank my parents for that). 

I always had a creative streak; in fact, I hesitated for a long time between Fine Arts and accounting studies when deciding my career path. Ultimately, accounting won, the voice of reason spoke... But a small regret remained in my mind.

The time I would have liked to dedicate to my passion was absorbed by my long studies (master's degree), which I completed in Alsace, and then by my demanding job.

A few years later, I became pregnant. During my maternity leave, I was finally able to reconnect with my beaded creations, and more particularly discover the technique of bead weaving. 

The Christmas necklace I created for my mother delighted her. When she wore it at a family event, it was such a success that a friend asked us if I sold my creations. This question was a revelation, a real turning point. Especially since my job was very demanding, and I longed for more time for myself and my loved ones.

That's why, after much thought and questioning, I decided to take the plunge, to leave my current position to dedicate myself to my new goal: creating my artisanal company.

I hope my creations will bring you a little joy, that you will be happy to wear them or offer them as gifts. We only live once, so we must do what we love as much as possible and worry less. The hardest part is making the right decision !
