"The Lovers" Earrings: Out of sight, close to the heart - in Miyuki beads

These earrings are a tribute to my Breton origins and a phrase I particularly love: "Out of sight, close to heart." Why this phrase ? Because my family is spread across opposite sides: Brittany, Alsace, South of France. These earrings represent a small stylized sailor couple, a nod to love that withstands distance and sea spray. They are also a tribute to sailors' families, whose wives regularly remain alone, waiting for their spouses at home.  

Each piece is handwoven, bead by bead, using the brick stitch technique. A piece of jewelry that carries within it a bit of the soul of the sea and Breton poetry. With their clean lines and simple design, these earrings are perfect for all occasions. They are designed for a casual look, with a pretty marinière top and sandals, for a year-round holiday feeling. The Miyuki beads come in white, blue, grey, matte black, and matte red, for a result that is both elegant and full of character.
